Privacy Policy

Effective October 13, 2026

This website, daphpercy.com, is operated by Client Powers LLC ("we," "us"), the publisher of Daph Percy's books. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you join the reader list we collect your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name. We also record which page you signed up from, the date and time you confirmed, and your IP address at sign-up, which help prove consent and keep out spam sign-ups. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write.

Information collected automatically. Like every website, our web server and our security and delivery network (Cloudflare) process basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Email engagement. Our email provider may record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, so we can tell whether our emails are being delivered and read.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. Retailer sites you visit from our links (such as Amazon) set their own cookies under their own policies.

How we use your information

  • To send the bonus content you requested, news of new books, and occasional notes from the author
  • To reply to messages you send us
  • To keep the site and the reader list secure and working
  • To meet legal obligations

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers who help us run the site and the list, each bound to use it only on our behalf:

  • Sendy, mailing-list software we run on our own server, which stores the reader list
  • Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES), which delivers our emails
  • Our web host, a private server that stores and serves the website
  • Cloudflare, which protects the website and delivers it quickly
  • Google Fonts, which supplies the site's typefaces and sees your IP address when they load

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Links to stores and affiliate links

Book pages link to retailers such as Amazon. Some of these may be affiliate links, which pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Once you leave this site, the retailer's own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address for as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and keep only what's needed to honor that request. Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to answer them.

Your choices and rights

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Depending on where you live (for example the European Union, the United Kingdom, California or Colorado), you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing and to complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

If you are in the EU or UK, we process your email address on the basis of your consent (which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing), and technical data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website. Our service providers may process data in the United States.

Age requirement

Daph Percy's books are written for adults, and this site and reader list are intended only for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us and we will delete their information.

Security

The site is served only over encrypted connections, and we use reputable providers to store the reader list. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use your email address, we will tell subscribers by email.
