These terms govern your use of daphpercy.com (the "site") and the Daph Percy reader list, both operated by Client Powers LLC ("we," "us"). By using the site or joining the list, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Adults only

Daph Percy writes dark romantic suspense for adult readers. The books, and some material on this site, include explicit sexual content, violence and other mature themes. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use the site or join the reader list. Each book's content note describes what it contains.

Our content

All text, cover art, excerpts, bonus scenes and other material on this site or sent to the reader list are owned by Client Powers LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. The Daph Percy name and the series titles are used to identify our books.

You may:

  • read, download and keep bonus content we send you, for your own personal, non-commercial use
  • share links to the site, and quote brief passages in reviews or discussion with credit to Daph Percy

You may not:

  • copy, repost, sell, upload or otherwise distribute bonus scenes, excerpts or cover art
  • use any of our content to train, fine-tune or test any artificial-intelligence system or model
  • scrape the site, or use it in any way that disrupts it or breaks the law

The reader list

The reader list is free. We may change, pause or stop it, or change what we offer subscribers, at any time. You can unsubscribe whenever you like using the link in any email. We may remove a subscriber who misuses the list or our content.

Buying books

We don't sell books directly on this site. Purchases happen on third-party retailers such as Amazon, under their terms, prices and refund policies. Some store links may be affiliate links that pay us a small commission at no extra cost to you. Prices, availability and formats are set by the retailer and may change.

Links to other sites

The site links to websites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, policies or practices.

Works of fiction

The books and bonus content are works of fiction. Names, characters, places and events are products of the author's imagination or used fictitiously. Nothing on this site is professional, legal, medical or historical advice.

Disclaimers

The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the site will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Client Powers LLC and Daph Percy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or the reader list. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed fifty U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept it.
